OVERVIEW

The NCNR’s neutron source provides a valuable research tool

for a wide variety of scientific fields from biological systems, engineering materials, to magnetic structures, and more.

There are currently 30 experiment stations: 12 are used for

neutron physics, analytical chemistry, or imaging, and 18 are

beam facilities for neutron scattering research. The subsequent

pages provide a schematic description of our instruments.
